Should the NHS invest more money in preventing disease?

Listen in to my interview on BBC Radio York following the Health Secretary Matt Hancock’s announcement on his long-term vision for the NHS,  with the focus on preventing illness by encouraging people to take more responsibility for their own health.

He says: “It’s about people choosing to look after themselves better, staying active and stopping smoking.” And, “Making better choices by limiting alcohol, sugar, salt and fat.”

Do you think prevention is better than cure?

How easy do you find it to eat healthily and exercise regularly?

Do you think it’s possible to eat healthily on a budget?

What’s one thing you could do to improve your health? #1change
