Living with ADHD can affect many areas of health – including eating habits, nutrition, weight, energy, and emotional wellbeing. As a Medical Doctor, Nutritionist, and ADHDer, I am deeply committed to helping women with ADHD thrive.

I’m excited to host my online Healthy Eating Support Group for Adult Women with ADHD, in collaboration with ADHD UK. This group offers a nurturing, neuro-affirming space where women feel heard, supported, and empowered to better understand both their ADHD and their nutrition.

My Role with ADHD UK

I am honoured to be a Celebrity Ambassador for ADHD UK, where I use my platform to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and support individuals navigating life with ADHD. My focus is on fostering a kinder mindset and improving long-term health through nutrition and lifestyle habits.

The Importance of ADHD Healthy Eating Support Groups for Women

Women with ADHD often face unique and under-recognised challenges, including late diagnosis, hormonal fluctuations, and the pressure of balancing work, family, and personal health. Many women experience ADHD burnout, emotional dysregulation, and executive dysfunction, which can make everyday life feel overwhelming.

If this resonates, you may also find my blog on food, overwhelm, and ADHD helpful:

Accessing the right ADHD support for women is essential for learning how to live a healthier, calmer, and more fulfilled life.

Alongside emotional and practical support, nutrition plays a powerful role in overall wellbeing. Many ADHD women experience:

  • Sugar cravings
  • Binge eating or emotional eating
  • Forgetting to eat
  • Difficulty with food shopping, planning, and cooking

These challenges can impact mood, energy levels, confidence, and self-esteem. The good news is that small, consistent changes to eating habits can make a huge difference.

Protein, in particular, plays a key role in supporting energy, focus, and cravings – which I explore in detail here:

My Virtual ADHD and Healthy Eating Support Group for ADHD Women

I run a virtual support group for ADHD women, offering a safe, welcoming online space where women can share lived experiences, gain practical nutrition insights, and build meaningful connections.

Living with ADHD can feel isolating – my goal is to create a supportive community where no one feels alone.

What My Support Group Offers

  • A safe space to connect – share experiences with other women who truly understand ADHD
  • Guidance and insights – learn practical strategies to improve nutrition and eating habits
  • Neuro-affirming approach – moving towards self-acceptance, self-compassion, and freedom from perfectionism and negative self-talk

How I Help Support Healthy Eating and ADHD Women
