Eating well with ADHD can feel overwhelming.
I’ve brought together my experience as a Doctor and Nutritionist, my own lived experience of ADHD, and years of supporting ADHDers through my courses, programmes and groups.
This practical course gives you bite-sized lessons, simple tools and easy recipes to help you eat well in a way that works with your ADHD brain.
You need curated, relevant information that you can actually use. You don’t need another diet. You don’t need another rigid meal plan. You don’t need more food rules. And you don’t need to become a completely different person to eat well. You need practical strategies that recognise how your brain works.
That’s what I’ve created: Healthy Eating with ADHD
The ADHD-friendly nutrition toolkit for making healthy eating simpler, more realistic and more sustainable.

I’m a busy, working Mum and know how previous time is and that’s exactly why it’s designed this way. You don’t need to “find time” for another course. You can listen while you’re already doing something else. And you don’t have to complete everything in order.
Start with the area you need most. Feeling overwhelmed by food shopping? Start with Meal Planning. Not sure what a balanced diet actually looks like? Start with Nutrition. Stuck in perfectionism and all-or-nothing thinking? Head to the Mindset Toolkit. Need some easy food ideas? Go straight to the recipes. This is a toolkit you can dip in and out of, not another programme you have to keep up with.
This is for you if you:
✓ Have ADHD, AuDHD are on a waiting list or are self diagnosed.
✓ Want to eat better but struggle to make it happen consistently.
✓ Feel overwhelmed by meal planning and food decisions.
✓ Struggle with cravings or impulsive eating.
✓ Tend towards perfectionism or all-or-nothing thinking.
✓ Want practical strategies rather than generic healthy eating advice.
✓ Want to improve your relationship with food without restrictive dieting.

With the right support, and a willingness to approach food and health in a new way, the impact can be truly life-changing.
“I’ve gained practical skills (effective meal planning, food-related factual knowledge) that have helped with overwhelm, sugar no longer has a prominent place in my life, and I’ve learned how to listen to my body and its cues to identify hunger earlier, so no more hangry feelings! …The programme for me has been life-changing… Helen created a space in which I could express myself, grow in confidence, and thrive. And in my experience as an ADHD perimenopausal woman, these spaces are rare.”
“I have more confidence, vitality, energy and time now I’m less focused on food decisions (have more knowledge now)…
I am not the best cook but that doesn’t matter. What matters is listening to my body and eating healthy food that will nourish me”.
“Working with you has been transformative. You gave me the space and support to listen -really listen -to my own body’s needs for the first time in a very long time.
You helped me see that health doesn’t have to look like waking up at 5am, cooking elaborate meals from scratch, or forcing myself into routines that don’t suit who I am.
I end this part of our journey feeling lighter, stronger, and genuinely optimistic about the path ahead.”
You probably already know that vegetables are good for you.
You probably know you should eat more protein.
You may have even been told by another doctor to lose weight for health reason
So why is actually doing it so difficult?
What I hear from the ADHD community over and over again is that ADHD can make the everyday things involved in eating feel really overwhelming. Planning what to eat, remembering to eat, getting to the shops, using the food you’ve bought, cooking when you’re overwhelmed, decision fatigue, managing cravings and emotional eating.
I’ve designed this course with an understanding of ADHD- helping you let go of neurotypical expectations and embrace who you are and work with your fabulous brain rather than against it!

I’m Dr Helen Lawal, a Doctor, Nutritionist, AuDHDer and Mum of 2.
What I hear in clinic and inside my programmes and bootcamps is that food related overwhelm, not planning ahead, confusion about what to eat, being inconsistent, all-or-nothing thinking, cravings and deciding what to eat are common challenges for the ADHD community. That’s why I created Healthy Eating with ADHD to give you the tools you need to make healthy eating feel easier. I’ve taken the knowledge and strategies I’ve built through years of supporting clients into a simple, practical toolkit you can access whenever you need it.
And because I know that ADHD brains don’t always want to sit down and watch hours of online content, I’ve broken it down in to small bite-sized podcast style audios. You can listen while you’re walking, driving, cooking or getting on with your day. Then use the practical resources, recipes and community to actually put it into practice.
You can also use the community to ask me questions and share your progress.
See you inside!
